Easier than last year with the dry underfoot conditions but still a tough challenge. Was going well up until about 17 miles & then right knee pain caused me to slow. The pain continued to the end but I have to admit I was pretty tired as well.
did 4 at dunstable 20 and that was with stopping to look at directions and rougher terrain in places than i believe there is at clarendon. clarendon might be hillier tho.
don't want to kill myself on this one tho as the thought of pb-ing at abingdon is raising it's ugly head in my mind. not by a lot, just getting in under 4:20.
aiming to beat last years 04:20 r
Did this as part of a relay. Did my leg in 52.23 (approximately 6.3 miles) and the team managed 3.31 overall
started off too fast and had stomach problems from 1/2 way but really pleased to get under 4 hours for a touch off road marathon
