faithfulred I liked the new course. It was more hilly than last year but a more interesting course. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out considering lack of training and I was also recovering from a virus. I heard drivers were complaining about the traffic disruption - it's one Sunday a year for god's sake! Unaffiliated 1:49:17 1:49:17 1:49:17 56.50

Chewbaccus Nice new route, more interesting than last years with a fairly hilly first part. After that was good undulating run. Sadly clocked it over 350m long which, when running to specific time schedule (Im a guide runner for my blind friend) is disappointing. Would have clocked around 2hr 5 min at 21.1km Doncaster AC 1:43:43 1:48:09 1:59:00 2:07:04 46.46

Watford Wobble Rather pleased with the result considering lack of training. Misty and cool at the start. The mist was burnt off with strong warm sunshine. Few climbs in the first 4 miles. Not a bad effort but not keen on this half / marathon event.

Nicholls595 Well organised event, not sure about the new route though. I'm not a fan of seeing faster runners going the other way (and most runners are faster than me!) That said, any route that takes in Wollaton Park is a plus. Well marshalled, decent support and excellent finish (with Grandstand) Kimberley & District Striders 2:01:51 2:18:28 2:15:00 2:18:28 46.93
