Did well to hold onto 7mm pace for abt the firt 4miles, then died. Overrall I was pleased thou when one considers I have not trained well during the summer!
Really well organised race. Good route for achieving PB
Was going fine for the first 4 miles, then faded. Will alter my training for extra stamina. Great race and well organised.
Highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a PB or a new bath towel. I'll be back.
146/850+ bit breezy
terrible first half - great second 5k
2 races previous day meant this was not going to be fast for me (5k PB and Chipping show fell race)
Course was not as fast as I thought it would be and it was quite windy
Beat k by 2 seconds!
Disappointed as this followed track sessions series
First 5k feel downhill. The 3 motorway bridges in the last 3k don't help. Probably set off too slow.
considering that i was unable to run 25 metres on the monday preceeding the race ,i was amazed at my time and the fact that i was able to run at all .I'd only run about 20 miles max in the five weeks or so leading up to this race
