david coxon Knee not too bad after last weekend, but have damage left calf. Enjoyed the run, right up until the injury, limped home in a lousy time though. Northumberland Fell Runners 1:42:00 1:37:40 40.91
Grey Badger 52nd out of about 140. Ankle held up ok so happy with that but my pace is a long way down on what it was before i was injured. So a bit of work to do but things are on the up i think. Very well organised race and good marshalling with lots of encouragement. Lovely soup waiting at the finish as well. Northumberland Fell Runners 1:09:41 1:09:41 1:21:00 1:21:04 53.75

Sturridge Not properly raced since last summer, so made a mess of the prep work. OD'd on pasta the night before (not ate pasta since October) so arse was on top form the next morning. Nervous energy ruined sleep and breakfast, then decided to OD on coffee (i gave coffe up in september) at the services. Got to the line shaking and nauseous. Came the closest i've ever been to quitting the race after one mile. Then all cleared up and, besides having to retrieve a shoe from the bog, I had a great race!

Me aside, It was a brilliant race amazing scenery and fantastic soup at the end. Penny Lane Striders 1:16:04 51.44
tryfan Second year I've run this one. Really enjoyable run. Thanks to all the marshalls who organised the event - much appreciated. Glad to see the finish line and get my soup and roll. Penny Lane Striders 1:42:00 42.72
