Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Great race this one!**Finally...happy...a race which made my 2009!**
SuzyWoo
1:10:30 according to garmin from start line.
becca7
Great race, fast course when getting a clear run, well organised. This is my Garmin time, the official time is over a minute slower as I started towards the back of the field.
rangermouse1967
Good race pleased with my time, suffered the last two miles found it very hard going took two minutes off PB.
MarcH
Haven''t quite gotten my shape back yet after having recovered from glandular fever.
Otherwise this would have been a bit over 2 minutes quicker...
MattTheRat
Fast course, beatiful conditions. Set off aiming for a PB rather than a sub-60 time. Got to 5 miles in 29:51 and tried to hold for the sub-hour. Still on track at 8 miles (48:00 dead), but lost 20 seconds in miles 9 and 10. Still a great run and a massive PB. Happy but not over the moon.
Super Sue
This was official time - Garmin time is 1:53:50 - took 1 min to get to start line. Ran round with Penny - lovely route -perfect day for running by the river.
Stumpy
yabba dabba doooooo.

I'm getting a race number from Kirsty tomorrow morning. I hope. Definite PB. RACE REPORT: Race plan was to start slowly and do every mile faster than the previous. Succeeded. Easy. But then is is a flat course, the only obstacle being groups of runners on narrow paths. As I was speeding up they were slowing down, so as eah mile progressed I was overtaking people faster and faster. LOL.
Capucine
Garmin says 8.44 mns/mile; I was very pleased with my time; course lovely and big potential for a PB!
AnnShellard
I was aiming for sub 1.20 so made it by the skin of my teeth. Beautiful course...would definitely do this again.
