paulhalford Time unofficial for what the Garmin measured as 5.19M. Disappointed with position but very pleased with the time, especially as might have been affected by a cold slightly. 26s faster than both two years and three years ago. Went through 5M in 28:04. Definitely in sub-35 shape for 10km. UPDATE: Official time is 29:07, which is odd as I thought I stopped my watch after not before I crossed the line. Werrington Joggers 29:04 29:04 29:04 76.29

Marts nice comfortable run. not flat out as did 8M before and 7M after as part of 20M training run. felt good throughout. Had to rush off though so not much chance for social chat Werrington Joggers 31:19 32:12 32:12 68.61

thorneygeoff This was a very enjoyable 5.2 mile race held in frosty but nice conditions. The marshals and cadets did a great job in such cold temperatures. Pity I couldn't catch AndyH - he shot past me 200m from the line! Thorney Running Club 37:13 38:01 38:01 67.39

Ted I too made it 5.19 on the Garmin. Blimmin cold day but a good race despite the thigh sapping grass. Ramsey Cycling Club 35:18 35:18 36:30 35:18 64.78
Jiffy Not far off predicted time, 5.15 miles on my garmin, ave pace 6.54 min/mile so have to be pleased with that, didn't enjoy running on the frosty grass but a good race, many thanks to marshals and helpers, was VERY COLD!! Unaffiliated 35:09 35:32 35:00 35:32 62.18

Gem* Good race, was plodding for a little while, that I realised that I was being really lazy, so decided to put some effort in and actually push myself a bit! This worked as my miles worked out at 7mins 52s or something (as it was a little over 5 miles) and that's my best ever. I was very pleased as I found the terrain a bit tricky. When I finished I felt really faint and that's never really happened before, but I was fine after a slice of cake! Werrington Joggers 40:41 40:50 42:00 40:50 60.74
