Fat Dave Get - the - hell - IN!!! Course extended by 1/3 mile and STILL went sub 2h. Lovely weather, beautiful course (preferred the hiller first section, actually - more variety), friendly banter, and a good smattering of wonderful new FETCHIES to meet. richshelley well 16th isn't that bad but i've just broken my PB by over a minute but I havn't due to the course being about 0.28 miles long. There's an apology on their website it was because of human error (bring back the death penalty LOL) well at least I can correct this injustice at bath in 2 weeks. skoorb As this ended up being .4 of a mile too long due to an error it would have been a 1.22 PB !! so thats what I have put down, my Garmin said 6.14 pace and a distance of 13.6 but most people were saying they had .4 of a mile extra so I'll go with that. smoke free tres amusant sid!!! Surely I've improved................ Update - haven't got official time yet (it's a PB by miles ) but it's effing irrelevant as the course was a quarter of a mile over distance. GUTTED!!!! Two guys from the club missed PBs narrowly AND it's the Devon HAlf Marathon championship race. What a shame Further update - my garmin time agress with chip time - as i pressed start as i crossed the start line - so either garmin was .25 of a mile out in just one mile or the EFFING COURSE WAS MEASURE WRONG!!!
