tough & muddy but pleased with a PB although course was a mile short.
toughie, back next year?.... you bet.
Very muddy and it rained near the start but mostly a good day and some superb views of the countryside.
Good fun got lost twice ending up doing 33 miles.
I have mud in my ears - last time that happened I was doing TurboX !!! Garmin did have it as 28.89 but looking at the stats it missed a lap (mile 22) - all a bit odd & I will adjust. Cracking PB
mud mud mud mud mud mud mud .........don't think I'll ever get it out my toes and shoes ! Was 3rd lady, although did an extra 1.8-ish miles somehow going wrong around mile 9 so could've done better. Still enjoyed it thoroughly and will have to be back next year for another go at the marsh, which was sorely, although understandably missed !!
tough terrain, tough weather - struggled to enjoy this race
