SteveV No particular target. Heard its quite a tough one. *UPDATE* 11 seconds outside my pb on what was probably the hardest half I have done to date. Unaffiliated 1:19:01 1:23:05 1:35:00 1:31:41 63.23

noswad First race back since I did my back, so anything around 1.45 on this course I'll be very happy with.
Actually did 1:33:00 so very happy with that on this course. I was expecting it to be tough and it was ! The last hill at about 12 miles was a killer, kept running all the way up...but at times I might have been quicker walking ! Great support from the Stokies though. Good medal and goody bag. leekjo Have been training really hard for the hills, but 1.44 is a tough target. Will be dissappointed with over 1.49. Happy, but achey. Glad of the water pistols. Staffordshire Moorlands AC 1:36:16 1:42:33 1:44:59 1:42:33 62.89
AngeM Two weeks after Edinburgh, so I hope the legs will be in the mood for this...! Afraid it was too hot for me-I had flashbacks to the horrors of the heat of Edinburgh (well, maybe it was a tad cooler here)..but there were hills here as well! So I relaxed and just took the race easy and I walked some of the hills. Stokies were great as ever and the ice pop lady was a godsend! Back next year, hopefully with no bum injury, no marathon in my legs and to get that bronze medal and sub-2:00 on this course! Sorry to the person that bet on me...I might have tried harder, if I'd known! ;0) City of Norwich AC 1:36:28 1:47:45 2:05:57 52.58

gcwenn Missed the start because of a little bad planning so could have been 2 minutes quicker. But that was not a problem. Tougher than i was expecting and the hills and heat took a lot out of me. The finish was chaotic and i had some bloke on a push bike beside me encouraging his g/f just in front of him and i was lucky not to crash into him. (Why do people think they can ride a bike between people who have just run a hard 13 miles?????) I was supposed to collect a bronze medal for my time, but the chaos at the end was too much for me. But overall a good challeging course and i am probably going to put my self through it all again next year Poynton Runners 1:40:00 1:40:00 1:45:00 1:54:14 53.61

simon_g Not quite as bad as I was expecting (except for Milton St) and felt as if I took it easy, keeping a bit in reserve. Great crowds along the route and especially at the finish, which was a bit cramped. Pleased to PB on this hilly course. Will be back! South Cheshire Harriers 1:46:40 1:46:40 1:46:40 58.37

Skittering Monstrosity Great race - loads of support, people out squirting me with hosepipes, handing out jelly babies etc.! Very hot and Milton Road is a killer! North Staffs Road Runners 2:00:49 2:10:02 2:15:02 51.23

Tatty Bogle Wasn't going to do this, but changed my mind! Have got plenty of endurance after Stratford Marathon in April. Legs have just about recovered now. Did 2.06 at Stafford and have improved since then, but this has some really tough hills. Not bothered about what time I do, just want to enjoy it.

Really pleased with this! It was very hot and the course was hard (about as hard as I expected!). Had a very enjoyable run :) Trentham RC 2:06:16 2:06:16 2:10:00 2:13:43 48.27
