Bunny Phobia Would like to beat PB set at Lune Valley (very hilly course); but who knows!

Great race, brilliant organisation and beautiful course - uphill saved by all the downhill! Low Fell RC 1:09:49 1:09:49 1:15:00 1:09:49 70.18
Middleman I beat last year's time so that's enough for me to say I enjoyed it. The coffee was nice at the finish. North East Marathon Club 1:08:43 1:10:24 1:11:00 1:10:24 63.07

Vicki: Graceless Whippet Well I did it, knocked three & a half minutes off my PB, won the 1st L35 prize, a silver medal in the NE Vets 10 mile champs, and a bottle of wine as a spot prize. Had a cracking run, went through 5k in a season best, through 10k in only 20 secs off my pb (another season best). I just worked really hard for the whole race including all of the many hills - trying to catch my club mate Rachel, who was ahead of me by only 200m from mile two right through to the finish.

I really enjoyed myself today, it's what makes all of the training worth it. Jarrow & Hebburn AC 1:14:04 1:14:04 1:15:00 1:14:04 67.43

Ands Did ok, not really my distance - 10k or less - but I might have a go at the Brampton and see if I can get a new PB since I'm only seconds away. Perfect conditions for me today - nice and drizzly.
Sorry to whoever bet on me though, will try harder in the Brampton. Blaydon Harriers & AC 1:19:00 1:19:35 1:19:35 65.61

Miss Sweden I have done this in 1.30, a few years ago, but I don't think I've done enough training to beat that. However, I'm still going to be trying to get under 1.30 :)
Well, should have beaten my previous PB, but had a bad start to the race. Really bad stitch a the start meant I had to walk and then slow jog for about 2 miles. So really pleased to catch up the lost time and come within 5 seconds of my PB. North Shields Polytechnic AC 1:30:11 1:30:16 1:35:00 1:30:16 54.90

Screeners Treating this as my last big training run before the GNR two weeks later - but saying that, would still hope to beat last year's time as I wasn't running well at all last year with the back trouble I had. **Race Report** I PB'd by about 2 1/2 minutes which I am pleased about but I didn't find it easy at all. Stomach cramped up from almost the opening whistle and the first four miles were just hell. Settled a bit then and I started to pick people off but from about 7 miles, my legs just went to jelly and it all just felt really hard after that. I suppose if I can still PB feeling like that then that is a good sign but I just wish I had felt a bit better whilst running. I think I need to re-think my pre-race breakfast and the amount of liquid I am taking on board - I think I actually drank too much, it was all sloshing around in my stomach and making me feel sick. Still, a PB is a PB! Elswick Harriers 1:37:55 1:37:55 1:37:55 51.25
