I am looking to do this 10K as part of my build up for my 'Marathon-Training' for Belfast In May.I have heard that the Race Is fairly flat, and I have been training very good so I aim to do well and get a new PB here which would be nice!
UPDATE:/ This was first Race of the year and I took a New PB by 1 Second!! I finished In 3rd place overal and I took the "1st Senior Male Award" which was very nice,as the winner although was also a Senior Male,he won the Race Overall.I got a lovely engraved China-Mug for my prize which was nice. l after leading for most of the race.Set off quite fast at the start, comming through the 5K Half-way mark In 17:08,It was raining heavy and there was plenty of puddles to motor through, which made this course a very muddy one! Also a couple of little hills aswell as running on gravel/dirt-track,through woodlands and part on the road added to the enjoyment and challenge this race had to offer! I really enjoyed doing this Race and It was a great start to my New-Year callender.Credit to the organisers for a memorable day... Got a really nice T-Shirt to mark the race which was good with my name on the back of It.One of my fav races to date.'Well-Done' to everyone and all fetchies that took part.Well-Done to (bairn7) for his victory.
Got the year off to a good start with a 9 second pb! Mainly flat course which was very muddy in parts. Probably set off too quick with first three miles sub 8mm pace which slowed to above 8mm over the last three miles. A big improvement from last year's time although the finish had changed again this year to cut out the football pitch finish.

hard going in the mud, got to be happy as about 1/2 min outside PB. Great start with the hailstones too!
First outing since RNLI, happy to get out there and get around at a comfortable sub-HM pace. Pleasant, relaxing way to spend an hour.
plodding on
Was muddy at bits not as bad as last year though was good to see some fetchies.
A PB - really enjoyed today. Cycled 35 miles from Dunfermline to the start - had 30 minutes to change shoes. Bumped into some nice people - didn't meet any Fetchies sadly. Really pleased with my time because it's a 2 minute improvement on a boggy course - happy days. Cycled home after. A grand day out!
Didn't have a great race - too little training and muddy conditions took a lot out of the legs. Good PBs for Iceblue and KarenD, and a win for fellow Harmeny runner Bairn7 though :-)
looking to get sub 49 shall be my second 10k back after having the twins...felt better than last week rather muddy and rough under foot but overall fast course 23.30 at turn slight incline back to finish but happy with race
Nice race . PB , but slightly disapppointed I didn't beat 50 . Everything nice about the race but not much atmosphere - maybe the weather kept people indoors
