Was pouring with rain beforehand, we waited in the cow sheds for the race to start, then ran over to the start, and were the last to cross the start time (but far from the last to cross the finish line!)
Aim was 10mm, to get Oatcake a post pb pb. Both of us worked hard on undulating course, and very happy to get 2.12, well done Oatcake.:)
As usual well organised, supportive marshalls and scenic with the Malvern Hills in the distance.
Fell over on ankel around 8 miles. First 6 went well.
My fourth go at my local half. Wouldn't miss it for the world, despite there being no PB potential here!
Update - Only 50 secs off a PB, who'd have thought it! Top race conditions made for a very enjoyable run out.
INjury after 6 miles - did first 10k in under 45 minutes
Run as hard training run. so pleased with the time :o)
Fantastic race in ideal conditions. Big PB!!!!
Really enjoyed this one this year...the atmosphere was much better than last year, perhaps it was the rain. Really pleased with my time (nearly 2 mins faster than the previous year) but still want to break 1.40 !
