Hills of Death (HOD) 67 th place out of loads felt great even after missing start. Lots of mud hills and ware won overall with a few missing :) Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners 40:00 40:00 40:00 50.41
kiki.d 4.77 miles according to Ware website. Not feeling very fast!
I also made it 4.84miles on my Garmin. 20th lady, slower than previous years but pleased with result as I've only been back running for a week. I also managed to hold off the Stortford lady who was breathing down my next for the last mile or so :-) Saffron Striders RC 44:23 44:23 45:00 44:23 52.75
Mr. T Ware Joggers, Sportsworld Running Club
tramps 15th places - poorly paced. Started too fast and didn't have enough to finish Saffron Striders RC 34:00 34:00 34:00 60.19
Vicksta Lots of luvverly mud! Enjoyed it more than last year, just drizzle this year not driving rain. Came 19th lady, 3rd scorer for the club. Got overtaken by 2 stortford ladies and a ware lady on the muddy section after the track section, I really don't run well on mud! 4.85 miles according to Garmin. Harlow RC 43:19 43:19 43:19 51.64
Vindicator Pretty please with this effort finishing 34th (just outside scoring) and 2 minutes faster than last year. Went off hard knowing that the start of this race is VERY conjested in an attempt to get position. I allowed some faster runners to catch me on the climb away but was not too worried about that. Held it together well until the final mile. The fast start had taken a lot out of me and it was a survival game. Thank god I did not need to find a sprint. Club finished 3rd of the 4 teams. Saffron look like they are on a resurgance this year and Ware Joggers look like they have been on breeding programme again. Next time... Harlow RC 36:52 36:52 36:52 53.76
