monki Worst run of my running 'career'. Really bad asthma, heavy legs, bad attitude, surprised I kept going. Unaffiliated 1:35:18 1:51:16 1:51:16 52.26
Mooey Really pleased with my time today - as I haven't done any decent training runs this year. The event clock had me come in at 2:40 - so I'm going with my watch! Unaffiliated 2:27:50 2:27:50 2:33:00 2:38:33 41.77

Sir Moses Hill First race of the year and took things easy until around 10 miles when I felt great and upped to 7-min miles for the final three. Not my quickest time but very pleased with my pacing and strong finish. Unaffiliated 1:34:51 1:34:51 1:42:00 56.84

blue (pete) Very wet and cold but a great race for me as I sneakily wanted to go sub - 2 on my first ever race at this distance.

MadJonny PB by over 60 secs and sub-1:50 for the first time ever. Not feeling 100%, woke up feeling under the weather with headache and resting HR was high. Ibuprofen works wonders though. First mile was slow (9-45) due to crowds, but then managed 8 min miles up to 9 mile mark. Slowed up a bit due to tiredness, but managed a quick final mile to sneak in under 1-50. Felt sick with about 1/4 mile to go but it was worth it in the end. Paid for it on Sunday evening - much more tired than normal & a bit feverish. Unaffiliated 1:44:49 1:49:44 1:50:00 1:49:44 53.31

GAZGIB The way things have been going recently I would have gladly settled for this time before the race. But as it was I was flying around and at ten miles was on target to break 1:37 which would have been a PB. However just after 10 both my hips seized up and the pain was awful, so I had to drop the speed right off and painfully jogged home for the last 3 miles. eMpTy Rather a damp race and didn't hit target but ran a very fast 10m, 10m PB by about 1.5minutes. In end paid for the fast 10m pace in the last 3 miles but managed a course PB by 2 minutes and an overall PB by some 20 seconds. Denmead Striders 1:31:57 1:37:20 1:35:30 1:37:20 66.18

fetcheveryone Just back, and warming up / drying out nicely. Really happy to have scored a big PB, even if it was not the 1:4X I'd been thinking about. Knee had some really nasty twinges around 8 miles, but thankfully it went quiet after about a quarter of a mile. Hit the 10 mile marker at 1:25:00, so things look good for Maidenhead 10. Think I faded a bit after that, but it was lovely to see MsFetch and JPR at about 12.5 miles, and the usual support from #8 and the others at the finish. Lots of friendly faces around, including a very hairy PieNapper :-) FERC 1:44:49 1:48:27 1:48:00 1:51:56 51.79
Jock Itch Enjoyed this one. Conditions not good but went off like a train and managed to keep a good pace for a new PB. Pulled my shoulder taking my vest off and injured my knee getting in the car ! I ask ya !! FERC 1:13:30 1:22:30 1:23:00 1:22:30 70.90

Leg End Nearly didn't get out of bed when the alarm went at 6:30 on a FOUL morning. But it was a BRILLIANT run. Delighted with my time. Ann (wife), Mike (son) and Debbie (his girlfriend) also had excellent runs. PBs for Ann & Debbie; my best since 1984 and Mike only one minute short of a PB. Position 1074 of 1681 finishers.
