What a great fancy dress race! As the slowest people went off first it meant that the fairies, Santa's etc. were scattered over the course, and great fun to try to catch.
Fantastic event and great fun as always.
This race showed excellent progress, thanks to my increased weekly mileage. I ran this race 7 minutes faster than last year, and will still be able to find improvement through hill and step training and more resistance and core work.

After-effects of the race appear minimal; I am not sore, but will need to be careful of my right shin, which is vulnerable.

Tough race, but good fun. Obviously no PB with those hills!

Great, running on New Years day and doing one of the toughest 10k races there is. Enjoyed it, but would have liked to take off those few seconds and got just under the hour. Would certainly do this again next year.
