Lisrun Great atmosphere at this one. An alteration to the course this year which changes the length from 5.7m to 5.9m *Update* Crowded start, bit of a headwind and warm. RununMan Went off too fast and blew up badly last year - hope to run better this time!!! UPDATE: Great atmosphere in the bigg market pre race. It's seems everyone turns out for this one. I ran okay upto 4m then legs just locked up, i struggled but just tried to keep it going to the end. I've decided im either rubbish at this race or it's just too close to Edin Marathon!! Vicki: Graceless Whippet Pretty hot out there, but had a canny run. Even somehow managed to beat last years time (43:15) on what was a longer course - supposedly 5.9 but several folks had 6+ miles on their garmins. Will have to see what my official time was as I forgot to press start on mine, so just checked on the clock above the finish as I went under it. Grey Badger First time i've done this one. Leg sore from saturdays fell race so just have to see how it goes. UPDATE----- leg held up fine, super event ,4000 runners. I had to start way back as i'm not in a running club so it took 40sec to get to the start line then walked for quite a bit before getting running. Once i got started i ran well with no pain from leg, passed lots of people. Time i have put down is my time from the start line to the finish line not the gun time which was 37m 30sec. Very well organised event with a great tee shirt and goodie bag. PS route came back as 6.06 on my Garmin anyone else find this? Northumberland Fell Runners 36:30 36:51 75.22
