Mad Dogs and Englishmen Most expensive marathon I've done, but what a brilliant medal and great great support. Running through all the parks was fun, got a PB so was thrilled, especially as training was through Xmas. Unusual race, frost at the start, and 22 degrees C at the finish, had no idea what to wear at the start, over heating at the finish. Bishops Stortford RC 3:29:33 3:29:33 3:30:00 3:29:33 59.42
wrinty Disappointed not to break 3hours (3:25:08 for 291st place out of 10,000+) the wheels came off at 16 miles despite a kiss from Elasti-Girl and then I hit the wall at 20miles taking 65minutes to cover the final 6 miles (far too much walking). But what a race to be a part of, weaving through all four Disney theme parks with almost unbroken entertainment and support for the full 26miles.
