Rach E 2nd lady. Happy enough given very interrupted training of late thanks to bicycle accidents and a stitched knee from XC fall last week. Looking forward to getting some good training in now :-) Thank you for an excellent race again Alchester. Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, Team Kennet, Newbury Velo 36:58 36:58 37:57 78.46

Loca Will be first race coming back from injury - PB unlikely. West 4 Harriers 37:10 38:54 41:00 38:54 77.50
Ally C 4 seconds outside PB and to be honest I did not run well. Flat course made it definite PB potential but I set of too fast and struggled near the end. No mental strength!!! Disappointing as I think I am capable of better. Nevertheless another sub 40 min 10K RAF AC, Moray Roadrunners 36:05 39:36 40:30 39:40 67.76

Agent Orange Conditions were still and quite mild; and I ran (?my first?) intelligent race. Began brightly but resisted the temptation to chase. Some people flew by but I managed to keep with those who just edged by and managed my speed through them. Got to half way in 21.36 - steady 4.20 pace. Got to the 6km marker thinking I'd done 7 but even that didn't phase me - though kms 7, 8 and 9 were in the high 4.20s. Charged home in 43.42 for 106th place out of 435 and a total improvement of 111 seconds in my 10K time this year. What a way to finish. Saw Fetchies a plenty -all lovely. libra Rapidly downgrading my predicted time - but still hoping for a PB.** Update**PB achieved, and better time than I'd hoped. Won't be gun time, though, as I was still strolling down a side road as the gun went. Unaffiliated 44:02 47:00 48:15 47:00 68.15

Gottotri Had no idea I could run that fast! In fact could have done better if I had concentrated for the full 10k and not chatted to other runners half way round!
Flat, fast course - no wind - perfect running weather. Unaffiliated 50:00 54:10 56:00 54:10 57.37
SarahBoots (Solitude_Fairy) Lovely race, very well organised and fantastic support from the marshalls. Shame my performance was not to match it. By 2K my lungs hurt, by 3K I was coughing and spluttring. I saw Bridget at 7K and wanted to pull out. Thanks for the encouragement Bridget, I ran/walked to the finish. Moral of the story is if you feel so poorly do not run. I was beaten by Dad by 5 minutes. Now I will either quit, or I will fight harder. Dad is going to pace me to a sub 60 if he can get into the race we are thinking about. Still coughing and spluttering now. Nice to meet Simon and IanM and HeidiM.
