GAZGIB Ideal running conditions, don't know why I'm always about a minute off my normal pace at this event, considering how flat it is. 45:20 beats my previous 5 times at this course. Bracknell Forest Runners 42:54 43:31 43:40 45:20 58.58
GD Got the PB I was hoping for! Was a bit wet - but this was a pleasant change to recent conditions! Managed to just about average my planned km split of 4:20 on the first half (which was all on roads), the return half was along the river on a towpath/cyclepath, and was pleased to find I was able to up the pace, and in fact improve every km: 4:15, 4:13, 4:12, 4:10, 3:55. Nice race - I'll probably be back - didn't much enjoy sitting on the M25 on the way home for what seemed like ages, but can't really blame Elmbridge Runners for that! surreystrider™ Quite a big turnout in filthy weather for this event. Knocked 34 seconds off my previous PB so I was happy despite getting soaked. Time for a drink ! Unaffiliated 44:42 47:36 47:47 55.76
