jlucas Course was a bit tougher than expected so found myself working harder than I would have liked too early. Missed the target time of sub 2:45 but looks like I've claimed a place in next year's England age group marathon team. Werrington Joggers 2:44:24 2:46:09 2:46:09 76.65

Karate woman Having gone through an injury at the end of June I was back to running at the beginning of September, but sustained another injury to the knee on the Stafford 10K 23rd September. I could not stand on my left leg until the 3rd October so I did not run until the Marathon day. Felft good to begin with but started to feel as if I had no conditioning in my body by the 9-10th mileage by the half way marker I just didn't know how I was going to cope so just kept going allbeit slowly, some walks at the last few water stations. Funnily enough my knee was fine, just the lack of training ruined my time, but at least I finished and ran in an England vest! Wolverhampton & Bilston AC 4:24:01 4:24:01 4:25:00 5:38:01 60.52
