iceblue Totally thrilled with finally getting sub 50 and a pb today! Didn't think it was going to happen as the cycle path part of the route was very undulating and part trail surface. Managed to pick up the pace again towards the end, until the long hill at the very end slowed me right down. Gave it everything over the final 100m to just get under 50 mins. Good to see Llamadance again today and well done to Kenster on his 5th place. Cambuslang Harriers, Campbeltown Running Club 40:42 49:56 49:56 60.61
kenster Started off way too fast and led for the first 2km,then came the hiily part and I couldn't keep the pace going over the cycle track,managed to up the pace once I got back on the road but the damage had been done by then. Well done to iceblue for her pb on a hard course and also good to meet Llamadance. Cambuslang Harriers, Campbeltown Running Club 32:33 37:07 38:43 68.41
Llamadance not bad really, started off on 4min/k which was fine till we hit the cycle path - 2 out of the next three K's were over 4:30 because of the undulations. Slightly disappointed with my last three K's, but the uphill finish is always a killer. Think I came about 10th. Nice to meet Kenster for the first time who ran a good race and also to see iceblue again who also ran really well. Unaffiliated 39:44 39:44 42:11 64.08
