This is my club's race however, I've been told I can do it as I'm a new member of the club. Update: Set off quite fast at the 6K marker I was on par for a sub 45 mins but the 2nd lap zapped my energy. That's the price I've had to pay for not getting the long runs in.However, another PB for me thats 4 off the trot now.

Over the moon with my time, thought I'd struggle with my calf but after taking advice from Iain from Start Fittness regarding compression socks, I purchased some Line Break calf guards, torture to put on but god they so helped, calf felt perfect and I was able to get my first sub 40 since Darlo 10k last August!

First organised race - good experience ... shame I missed my target of sub-1hr but not far off and boy is that a big hill (okay steady incline but still big and energy sapping) you have to do twice!
Bipper

RununMan
Not the fastest of courses but I still enjoyed it. Ran steady as legs were a little tired but pushed the last 2k and finished strong ;~)
alisterrobson
A new unofficial PB.
northernrunner
not a fan of multiple lap races but with it been flat thought id give it a go and try and get a good time, ended up knocking about 12 seconds of my pb for the distance and finishing in 12th place
ed.knud
was feeling a little rough for the whole thing, maybe overtraining and too much drinking!
Skylonsthelimit
full of cold, had a really sore throat and cough, using that as a 2 minute excuse...
Robsta
Only my 2nd race this year - a little slower than I wanted but a PB (1st Official 10k!) Well organised, but the long drag (twice) a little head busting.
ha ha
ran this two years ago,but climb didnt seem so bad this time.happy with last k of 4.21..thats 7min mile pace right at the end
Rigel
Not as flat as I'd been led to believe but missed predicted time by only 7 seconds which wasn't bad considering still have niggling shin injury (poss shin splints).
