bedlam_g A quite tough (for me anyway) 4.5 mile off trail race. Mostly on a dirt track around the Neilston Pad a (local hill) and back. A Dibleyesque finish with many runners unaware the gate into the show ground was the finish line. Assorted angry athletes running in random directions through tents and spectators, desperately trying to find a finish line must have looked hilarious to the onlookers. A banner or something with the word finish on it would have been a help. Bellahouston Road Runners, Cumbernauld AAC, Kilmarnock Harriers & AC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 38:31 38:31 38:31 45.20
