_andy That was one nasty uphill first mile! Still, that meant a 6 min/mile for me for the last mile with all that downhill. Dang, it was hot (20C on the car thermometer). SueW That was hard. If you can't speak and want to be sick, you know you've worked fairly hard! I'm glad the hill was at the start rather than the end. I haven't raced a 5k for ages and I remember why now. Still, that was about 10 secs faster tahn my last 5k race in 2004 around a much, much flkatter route in Glasgow Green.
