Boingy
Managed 5.50 at an un-official track race on 18/06, so hoping to go a tad quicker - UPDATE - Went a tad quicker. :-)
SparkyMark
Really want to be inside 6 mins - and then eat cake :-)
sLickster
PB by 8 seconds so nothing to complain about, but wasn't too good in middle laps, although a good finish to pull Jigs back on last lap. Splits - 78, 82, 82, 74.
trumpton riots
Great day, small PB and fab cakes
Barky
Yeah: another PB :-) - an awesome day out!
Velociraptor
Scraped a PB. Didn't realise just how many points had been bet on me till afterwards. Only 8 seconds faster than the East Midlands Fetch Mile, even though I was lighter and better trained today and the weather was cooler. Guess one mile is not my distance!
Ness
Great fun and an unexpected PB! Can't be bad! :)
EvilPixie
Sorry :-(
Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
My first Fetch mile challenge!! :)
More of a Tortoise
Feckin' hell - never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I could go sub-10. Did I run enough laps??
ThorntonRunner
5:32 at the East Midlands mile - want to break 5:30 here...
UPDATE: Managed the sub-5:30 - kept with Jigs and Slickster for first three laps, then they pulled away but managed to keep it together to get the 5:27 - pleased:)
GoJimGo
last time I started off far too quickly, trying to keep up with the young(er) guns. By the start of lap 4 I was shot and running through treacle (or sumat). I still don't know how I completed the mile. This time the plan is to save myself till the final straight Henry Rono style (was it him?) UPDATE: "move over Henry"
Sproggy
What another enjoyable event well organised again with lots of fab cakes!!
