Beezgirl Wow! I don't know where that came from. The first of the summer league races (Epperstone - Notts Summer League) and my first run for 5 days. I had worked a row of three nights, so was rather tired, but looking forward to it. I forgot my watch(!) so judged the pace by how I felt and tried to maintain my place. Overtook loads of people going up the massive hill in the first mile then settled into a strong but comfortable pace. Had mild stitch at mile 2 then badly at Mile 5, but breathed through it . Was overtaken by a lady at mile 5 and let her get some distance between us, then started to reel her back in, but unfortunatley I didn't catch her. Still absolutely estatic with my time and 7th lady out of approximately 150. Exceeded my expectations and predictions by a loooooong way and felt I 'raced' it to the best of my abilities without feeling in state of collapse at the end! Perhaps my Grandma, who died on Sunday night and whose house we ran past tonight, was with me in spirit. Redhill Road Runners 41:54 39:02 71.49

Vickyy Was really nervous before hand - as haven't raced since the end of February and have only been back running for two weeks but decided to give it ago and was surprised by how I did. I do love the course though and the weather was great. Long Eaton Running Club 48:00 44:55 62.97
