BlueWombat I will be cycling to this from Cambridge, unless I can find a lift ;-) Finished my last long run before FLM today .... the Daffodil Dawdle, a 26.2 mile race around the Cambridgeshire countryside, which was very very muddy. Even my Inov8's were not up to it ... maybe I should get some mudclaws rather than roclites. The family are off in the Lake District, so I had no car, and cycled to the start/finish, leaving late because my nice road bike hasn't been used for a year and I discovered the seat was in the wrong place (too low), the chain had no oil, the tyres needed air etc etc. Got away by 9am and made the 18 mile journey in 75 minutes (I'm not fast on the bike anymore, and I didn't want to be totally knackered before running a marathon). Slid around the route constantly checking the written directions, written in the LDWA style code that some here will be familiar with Cambridge & Coleridge AC, Cambridge University Hare & Hounds 3:28:13 3:28:13 5:01:18 43.33
