Gobi 13th place in 16.53 for me tonight. The sub 17 hoodoo is well gone now. Made the decision to run how I felt with no Garmin or HR stats and that produced 1 - 3.19 2 - 3.22 3 - 3.25 4 - 3.25 5 - 3.22 Would have liked some HR stats afterwards as this felt easier than I expected and heart and lungs wise far easier than my 16.38 at Bushy the other weekend. Rach E Entered on the day. I felt relaxed as not really any pressure but am really pleased with how I ran and it shows I'm almost back to fitness again on very little speedwork. I worked hard but felt good :-) Km splits: 3:30, 3:34, 3:35, 3:42, 3:43 (first three kms were largely downhill with the last two uphill). High quality field and pleased to finish 3rd senior lady. RFJ Charndon 5k tonight 19:59 on the watch, (im taking that) Results say 20 dead....... not a PB but somewhere where I have wanted to be for a while.... 3:50 - Too fast but down hill 3:55 - Evened out and good pace 4:00 - 1st of the undulations 4:08 - Big bridge over...... 4:04 - Small bridge over and kicked on...
