Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Dorney Dash - Setoff at what felt like a comforatable pace, but faded in the second half. Enjoyed the run.
Joe Hawk
Really nice race , Really poor run
Stabbing pains and really sore feet. Should of been a lot better

Finished 633\880 (72% down the field)
Not as good as I thought I would be today. I will have to look at my training to see how I can improve my speed, as the distance is not the problem.
Oh dear, a bit too hot for me. The water looked tempting at 8k.
A pb so happy days BUT I so wanted that sub 40, its getting closer! Great course and event, loved it!
A PB which is nice, quite a big positive split (18:22, 19:20). Wind in 2nd half was hard work, but really enjoyed this one.
The holy PB grail awaits...I did it! I finally Pb'd! Hopefully made up a few of those credits I owe peeps. Bit disappointed with the clock time, 17 secs slower than my garmin, but I guess it took about 10-13 secs to cross the line and a few secs at the end for them to scan my number, so it kinda adds up. I'll use clock time but I like my garmin better ;o) Loved it! xxx
Prof Disco Dean
Did better than woodley but still need knee looked at
Ouch! I think I am broken!
A bit too warm for me.
What's the mass start like. Does it slow you down?
Super, smashing great... new PB by 1+ minute. Perfect conditions (for the spectators). Stayed in control and kept something back for the second half of the race, instead of dying on my arse as per last year.
Floating Runner
Anybody fancy a race at around the 7.30 mile pace, if so then fmail me and we can arrange something. Would like to better pb I set 20.05.08, so could be tricky without the challenge.
Bloody hell, went all out and got another pb, amazed myself.
Forest Runner
Very disappointing and worse than my worst case scenario. Pace was actually slower than my last half marathon, which was much more undulating than this flat 10k.
I WILL break PB, I will I will I will. Got it over a year ago, need a new one.
Edit: Bl**dy hard work - but I went out and got me a shiny new one :-))
Steve Wood
Ran off no real training and pushed it. Halfway round in 19:50. Struggled to keep it together in the last couple of miles
My time - not clock time which I suspect will add a few seconds. BUT under 45 off the back of no running for two weeks and heavier than my last three 10k PBs. Pretty pleased.
Generally pleased. would have like sub 50 and was on for it with 2k to go, but heat was unrelenting and made the goign quite tough. Half way in 24-50. Headwind running up the lake made it cooler but very hot on turning back towards the start.
