Boots Pre Race: Not sure what to expect at the moment, have had a sluggish winter and cross country season. If I can go sub 27 I'd be happy. My PB is 26:54, set in June 2007 but have ran faster for 5mile split in a 10k. Think its a realistic target. Post Race: Came 2nd in 28:18. Was a very muddy course and is definitely NOT a PB course due to its multi-terrain nature! Jean Ndayisenga was well ahead and had me beat before the race had started really, but managed to feel comfortable throughout and would hope to go a lot faster next year with a time to beat.
