Billy-Whizz-Haining Still felt tired through out the race as i raced last wednesday at Kilmarnock so i didnt feel on top form but i dug in deep and mangaged to complete the course in 1h 26m 45s so not a bad run over all and i managed to finish 1st vet 50, so worth the trip. Jamis New race for me, watched it last year and it looked good. Fastest 1/2 for a long time, but still felt disappointed with the run. Very small feild of runners which didnt help the pace. All the fast runners where out of site after a few miles and just a few of us ploddlers on to keep each other going. Not a good idea going to the pub last night either. A bit of a mix up with the front runners or so I was told, dont know the full story find out on club night. A big well done to the small few that turned up for this one.Hope there are more next year,I will be there and no pub the nigt before!!!!!! Unaffiliated 1:32:55 1:40:48 1:43:23 56.39

LouLou Second time doing this race - was my 3rd ever half in 2006. Very small female field proably due to Women's 10k on same day. HAd a strong first 4 miles starting off as leading female. Pace dropped from then onwards and felt I was battling a bit. Thought I had close to a PB in my legs but found it difficult running on my own for entire race due to small field and huge separation between runners. Kept my lead and finished first female. Longest run since marathon so lots to build on.... watch this space. Dundee Hawkhill Harriers 1:23:46 1:27:15 1:29:44 71.85
Roadrunner Bark This Race was a complete disaster for me though neverless a good training exercise!!! I was in the pack of top 6 minus Robert Gilroy who was the eventual overall winner. We all ended taking a wrong turning and went in the wrong direction!! The Stewards were just young lads and never even mentioned we were going wrong way. Most of the lads pulled out at this point including my M8 Alec Robertson. I on the other hand battled on and ended up doing approx 17 miles in total!! And an extra 4 miles into the bargain and a hard Session! Still however I managed to salvage something and got a respectable time for my efforts finishing high above many that did go the right way!
