Helegant Brillinat massage immediately before and after this race meant legs worked well. It was very hot but that bothered me less than a lot of other folks. The sun glaring off the concrete in the last two miles gave me a bit of a headache, but I think I finished in much better shape than I;d expected to. Pity about being heckled by lager louts on the run up the golden mile, but the pensioners were lovely, Bedford Harriers AC 2:32:17 2:32:17 2:36:38 45.04
