AlB Felt harder than Culham - but I guess I was trying harder. Just got back from skiing at midnight and have a cold - so I was happy with performance - 2nd V2. Unaffiliated 19:28 23:42 63.75
felixs Stood near the front for a good start then got overtaken by about thirty runners!. But I think my slow start was probably a good idea as the course was very sticky and tiring. Enjoyed race, finished about 8th,just beaten by Banbury specialist Ros. Unaffiliated 21:19 70.88
Rach E Not run this one before so will be grilling felixs for some course info beforehand! **UPDATE*** Felt ill and ran badly. Gutted to be honest (more because I thought I was better but obviously am not) but we all have days like this and once I am better I'll be back to form I'm sure. Also I lost two spikes on my shoes before the race and had suffered with grip. Well done Felixs! Not sure who bet on me(!) but this is XC and you never know what a course will be like!?!?
