Dom My slowest ever half- this big feller really struggles in that heat

Just about kept my record of always finishing under 2 hours! Unaffiliated 1:33:25 1:46:08 1:59:56 48.40

Gobi Gloucester Half Marathon. The idea was just to go with the flow but work harder than I have been on my tempo runs. Went off in a group of 8 and just sat in, at 4 miles there was a change of pace and then there were 4 of us. At 5 miles there were 3. I ran as fast as I could over the route and at 7 miles caught second. By 9 miles I was clear and chasing 1st down. Could feel yesterdays 5km efforts as I tried to raise my pace but came home second a long way clear of third. Very happy with the result.

Happy Birthday to Stephen Price who I think finished 4th

NOTE: No garmin or HR stats as I forgot it

Pricey HOT HOT HOT - too hot for my liking. Quite pleased with 4th place and kept my HR very steady. This race was more of a long training run under the conditions. UKnetrunner 1:11:49 1:12:44 1:15:00 1:19:40 72.77
R.I.C.O. The heat was overwhelming, I reckon I'll knock at least 5 minutes off this time at my next 1/2 mara Centurion RC 1:16:39 1:20:22 1:27:33 66.22

taulpaul Great rural scenic race with easy parking right at the start and full use of the toilet and shower facilities of the nearby leisure centre. Medal and very ample goodie bag at the finish. Race made incredibly difficult though by the heat which was about 28C. Many people walking at stages in the latter half including me. My slowest half yet but with the weather and my lack of long runs this is no surprise to me. Came in position 163 out of 390 finishers. Birmingham Swifts 1:33:28 1:43:34 1:51:53 52.50
The_Saint Incredibly hot (car thermometer said 35 degrees C - OK not a shade temp but we weren't running shaded), not enough water stations, my slowest 13.1 miles in any circumstances ever - training runs, part of longer runs, you name it. Unaffiliated 1:30:59 1:34:04 1:48:14 56.58
