*Anj* I think last time I did 7.33. would like to sub 7.30 but will depend on how training is going etc....*POST* Due to a great pacer, I managed 7.15 :) Very hard and hurty!!! Lungs burning etc. Unaffiliated 7:09 7:15 7:30 7:15 58.71
abdou Ah, lovely warm June *RACE UPDATE* Was lovely and warm. Which probably accounts for a fair bit of a pleasing 14-second PB. Was perfectly placed on JEJ's pacemaking shoulder with 2 to go but had overcooked it a bit and struggled on lap 3 as the guys streamed past... Still had a kick though - now know I can do sub-5 next time. 12.3 for the 100 :) Hillsborough & Rivelin RC 5:05 5:05 5:10 5:05 74.43
anne23 Would love to get under 6:30 as part of my plan for world domination (otherwise known a sub-6 mile) in the next few years. UPDATE: That went much better than I expected! Thanks JEJ for some incredibly helpful impromptu pacing. Unaffiliated 6:07 6:18 6:28 6:18 66.93

JEJ I'll jog around a few laps to put the sub 5 boys through 1209m in a nice even 3:44.

Alternatively I could run with a camera to film the race on the move...? TENTATIVE Unaffiliated 4:43 4:55 4:59 4:55 76.95
Jock Itch Cant make this but will be doing my mile at Bracknell with club. Timed mile with Bracknell Forest Runners. Should be an easy PB. Lump on !

*****UPDATE**** Pleased but gutted not to go under the magic 5mins. Ran on my own and timed by Bracknell Forest Runners club official. Went through 400m in 1:10 (bit suicidal) , through 800m in 2:24 and then basically hung on in there. Looking at my watch several times on final lap proabaly cost me. Next time and with competition I will do it. Another PB though :) FERC 5:00 5:01 4:59 5:01 78.22
MattTheRat Really good fun, excellent to meet other Fetchies and race a mile on a nice track. Good pacing from JEJ, but I slipped off the sub-5 pace after 900m and it was pretty grim after that. Splits of 75,77,78,78 tell the story. But a 14 second PB, so still very happy. 14.6 for the 100m as well. Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets AC 5:08 5:08 5:10 5:08 79.28

Runs With Coyotes Looking forward to this immeasurably and training hard. Sub-five is goal number one, but it may be out of reach. Beating Blister is goal number two... but that'll probably be out of reach too! But whatever happens I plan to give it absolutely EVERYTHING I have... UPDATE: And I did. Made some tactical errors, but just about squeezed in there under five minutes. Will blog soon... Unaffiliated 4:58 4:58 4:59 4:58 79.01
SarahL Very pelased with this. I couldn't race it because of the sciatica. Although it was feeling a lot better it was still there and didn't want to set myself back. So took first two laps nice and easy then gradually increased pace. Felt good and strong and remarkably easy. Which is quite scary! :) So not a PB but very pleased as it seems my sciatica is heading in the right direction. I might be able to get back into some proper training soon! :) Unaffiliated 6:20 6:20 6:45 6:39 63.42

youlooktired Hello to everyone who was there and a big thank you to all the organisers for putting on such a good wee race! Very happy with the time. A combination of the race and the free flowing pints on saturday night meant that my time at bluewater today(sunday) wasn't too good... Hope to see some of you again soon!
