Bob! 53-12 Cross Country League at Gosfield. My first ever Cross Country Race. Route was round the School field then 2 laps of muddy paths in the woods, then back round the field. Decided to take it easy on the way out as I was a newbie, bit of a queue to get into the woods, but was overtaking people (well a few!) once on the narrow path. Probably should have started faster as much of the pathways through the woods were single file. Great Fun in the mud! 161st of don't know how many! Maldon Soul Runners 37:27 38:23 55:00 44:39 52.41

themookid Lots of mud but the shoes held up great. My best race for a long long time and was very surprised to finish 68th!! (best last year was 92nd). I made sure to fly off before hitting the woods and single file traffic. Kept up quick pace for first lap but struggled over second lap. I will do well to better that performance this winter. Tom Tom Went ar5e over t1t on the first lap, plus developed the mother of all stitches in the woods. 15th place, but can and will do better! Unaffiliated 31:33 33:15 38:14 62.88
