AlB 1st xc for the club. Started far too far back, its a bit hard to overtake - but still it went ok. Unaffiliated 20:15 21:20 26:10 59.91
felixs Good run last year,(21.04)such a fun course that alot of people seemed to hate?!. I will be slower this year,but hope to enjoy it. Sticky mud,and quite windy,but didn't stop so pleased.5th lady in race which is good considering am at least twenty years older then some of the so called speedy seniors!. Rach E Want to beat last year's 22:25 by a good margin. **UPDATE** Conditions much worse than last year and course was more about survival than speed so any hopes of beating last year's time were out of the window! The course had also changed. Not really any opportunity to get any speed up on this mudfest but enjoyable (if that's the right word?!) nonetheless and pleased to finish 2nd in the senior ladies/U20/U17 race - was just outsprinted by a Swindon Harriers girl to the line. Tsk! Had one of my blackouts again afterwards but hopefully this will be sorted soon. Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, Team Kennet, Newbury Velo 17:52 17:59 22:33 65.34
