Kew Wow that was hard - much hillier than i expected, someone had told me the hills were only at the start! Really pleased with my time considering Reading Joggers 45:40 49:20 50:24 59.44
little brown bag Would love a sub 50 time tomorrow.. but it's hilly! Little bruv is running too, looking for 48 Minutes, so will try sticking with him ANd it was very windy too.. teddy-o Not a good race. Woke up after an awful night's sleep feeling pretty rough. Thought I was going to vomit at some point, but didn't. Goring 10k was hilly and windy. I'm sure the hills have got bigger? Around 5k I found a bit more pace on the long flat section toward the slow uphill climb, but then after the turn back toward Goring, the wind was bad around 7k, and the uphill made it tough going. Splits started OK, soon went downhill to mid and late 4min/km so it was clear I wasn't hitting the targets. I'm disappointed I didn't get sub 40 but I knew when I was at the start I wasn't feeling right. Ho hum. Maybe next time. Nice to meet some fetchies (Amadeus, two people from Derby(!!) and a few others). I was the only one in a Fetch shirt though! Headington RoadRunners, Totley AC 40:13 43:48 42:00 43:48 60.27
