clare1976 Hard work, my first xc race! Not ideal in road shoes, but terrain okay for the majority. Tough course, 2 laps, was hilly, but enjoyed the overall team atmosphere in the event, even though I was one of the slowest! Felt much harder than pace suggests, but still beat my awful 5k PB, so I must find a road race to resolve that! Spa Striders RC 39:07 59.21
