Will be my first go at this, heard it's nasty and hilly (sounds good to me) so guessing average pace of 8.30ish. UPDATE - Where did that come from? Went way better than I hoped. Brilliant.

Hoping to dip under 57 minutes after last years effort on the same course. Yes it is hilly but there is a fantastic downhill to the finish for the last mile or so!.....Well slower than last year, could make excuse about the wind for the first half but to be honest my legs felt tired. Speed was there but just couldn;t maintain it in the headwind, loks like I'll have to work on my strength....Here's to the lord mayors 10k in a couple of weeks....
Trehis
Great race, into the wind after the first kilometer quite strong too but felt strong, the only head wind was for about a mile around 3 to 4 mile and managed to shelter behind a Rotherham harrier for all of that. Thanks mate.
The rest seemed all downhill even with the three hills because the wind seemed to help all the way back. Time not brill but I felt good all the way.
Baldy Dave
1 hour 9 mins last year but since then have run 1 hour 10 mins for 10m so should be a PB
*update*Over 5 minutes off last year's time despite the strong winds.Great race again, I'll be back next year to try to get round in under an hour.
Digga
3 mins slower than 2006 a bit disappointed
