Undulating course and windy in parts today. Feel like I'm at last getting back to my better times.
Sorry everyone who bet on me, I blew it, well on target to mile 9 then ran out of gas, struggled to get home under 1.45 never mind 1.40!
my slowest HM for quite a few years, very disappointed and no real answers yet. I hadn't run for a week because of injury, but that didn't account for such a poor showing
The wind made running quite tough in the first half and I took a long time to settle into a comfortable pace. Still feeling in very good shape and pleased with the time.
Laps: 5:48 6:02 5:58 6:27 5:39 6:10 6:13 6:05 5:46 6:00 5:57 5:52 5:50
Had a very good morning over in yorkshire. The race was well organised and although a bit cold and windy i had a good run. Pleased with the time, just wished i had dipped under 135, never happy. Enjoyed it though and would do it again.
I coped with the hills rather better than I thought I would Found the wind tough though! Very enjoyable race.

first ever 1/2 and I lost it at 8 mile mark. Hard race and I felt really drained!!!
Head wind in all directions
happy, first ever race
