Iron Bry! Not sure what to expect as this is my first triathlon. Completed a couple of swim / run events but that's it! A little worried about the cycling as this is a bit of the unknown - but I suppose I have a month to get a bit of practice in! As for target times ... no idea! A good event. As a first tri, I thought it went quite well. I haven't seen the times yet, but it should be sub 1.15. 500m swim - 7.08 (8th), 20k bike - 45 minutes and 5k run - 22 minutes. Swimming Is Easier Really pleased as first triathlon!! Came 71st overall in ladies, was 8th in swim (7.57), 94th in bike (53 mins - which included slow transition and going the wrong way) and 64th in run - 27.41 - which included another long transition as I lost my trainers!! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE, i've wanted to do a tri since 2005 and am sooo pleased i did it. I was totally comfortable and reckon I can go a lot faster in the next one now I know the score.
