Rach E Pleased with race when I've had a bit of a niggle recently and am a little tired. 2nd female today and plan to PB next month. Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, Team Kennet, Newbury Velo 36:58 36:58 38:07 78.12
Jock Itch Hopeful PB but legs tired so upto youuuuuuuu..
***UPDATE***** Good race. Enjoyed it. Went the wrong way too which I'm a bit pissed off about but PB so happy days FERC 34:25 34:48 34:55 35:01 77.19
Gobi Yateley 10km Top 10 finish but it was HELL. Legs were dead as expected which made this a long 10km. Really felt like binning this but just worked as hard as I could.

Jock ran brilliantly and will go a lot faster if he stays healthy. Cannock & Stafford AC 33:14 33:14 34:54 77.02
Fast&Furious My first ever 10k race.

Finished 26th overall and 5th in M40 age group. Woking AC 36:29 36:51 39:00 37:06 76.84
SteveT Started steady up the hills with the first 3km all being around 3:45, caught one of my club mates as we turned down the hill, we then kept overtaking each other for the next 6km at which point I tried to pull away from him up the last hill knowing he is younger and faster than me and would probably out sprint me, managed to get a gap of around 15 metres, but it wasn't enough and he went passed me with about 200 to go, but at least I got a small PB, but still not got into the 36's. Damn! just checked the results and found out I was 4th MV40 just 8 seconds behind 3rd! Hart Road Runners 36:30 36:48 36:59 37:05 75.65

SuperSooks Really annoyed, ran the first 4km really well but a stitch came on in the dowhill, had to stop twice in the 5th Km and once in the 6th Km to try and shake it off after the usual breathing stretching attempts failed. I must have been stopped for over a minute.. Very disappointed because apart from that I felt great and I really beleived I was in shape to PB. That 40 minute barrier is still firmly in place! Winchester & District AC 39:24 39:24 39:59 41:00 72.74
manicstreetpounder Totally unexpected PB. I wasn't sure how I'd run today as my legs have been feeling heavy for a few days leading up to the race from some extra miles training for a marathon. I think I might even have had more in the tank because I felt I was holding back up to about 8K, half-expecting to blow up. I guess I'll find out next month in Race 3. TW Still not up to full race pace, but will be ahppy to get under last month's time.
Went pretty well...21.17 at 5kms, then 42.58 finish...pleased with that. Unaffiliated 41:14 42:58 43:00 42:58 63.31
Jonny I knew it was going to be nothing like as good as last month's 10k due to having the flu for 3 weeks. Legs felt tired and wasn't able to maintain a good pace. Felt like dropping out at about 5.5kms but kept on going slowly. Also became dehydrated quite early on. Did manage to run another 8 miles after. Unaffiliated 38:55 39:10 42:07 62.89

keets Nice run - bit of an incline in mile 6 which took me by suprise and I loafed a bit. Happy with the time, hope to be faster next time. Unaffiliated 44:01 44:01 46:00 46:15 58.44

stevep1000uk Will be attempting to beat last years time of 49.21 but struggling with various injuries. If training goes ok would be confident of beating it. If training goes badly and injuries flare up then who knows.
UPDATE: Training went ok but was limited due to knee problem. Race went well, knee not sore and happy with time as was PB but faded badly on km 7,8,9. A few harder training runs before race 3 and some cooler weather and hopefully will get a bit nearer to 45mins. Unaffiliated 44:36 45:19 49:00 47:40 56.12

GAZGIB MY 20TH YATELEY - For the first time ever I forgot my watch and had no idea how I was doing until I rounded the final corner to see the time clock.
