PhilPub A pb by nearly 4 mins. Absolutely chuffed! Running the whole race with someone with the same goal (and form) makes such a difference. Nice one Dave! (Or was it the new orange shorts?) Here's looking forward to Paris. Kent AC 1:11:28 1:15:41 1:17:59 1:15:41 77.03

Mattw4de if i take off the 25 seconds to 1h37 i will be happy, anything quicker is fantastic but not required..

Well So much for my theory, I blitzed it - Had loads left at end & got a bit bored of the change of direction & all those bridge underpass' Really didn't like that Hump Back Bridge or the Bridge over the Main Road. Paths were a bit narrow at times when snaking through Housing estates & proved challenging to overtake. All together an enjoyable day, great spectator support along all the route also.. Gloucester AAC 1:27:59 1:27:59 1:37:00 1:32:45 62.51
Lieutenant Lucerne Slower than last year and a bit slower than expected; which seems to be in line with how 2008 has started for me. The fourth time I have run this and as ever the 9th mile, with its undulations was the slowest. The 10th and part of the 11th mile into the wind were hard going. The small bridge over the canal during mile 11 is always harder than it should be (I'm sure I saw a large bright green model of a dinosaur at this point). Alopex My first half of the year, & the venue of my half marathon debut last year. It's flat, but busy. I should go sub 1:40, but a lot depends on the recovery from a long training run the week before, & the game of rugby the day before. UKnetrunner 1:37:00 1:37:00 1:39:00 1:37:05 60.81

DanG Prediction based on good FLM training and a positive outcome of Watford 4 weeks before this. If I get the prediction here I will be feeling good about a sub 4 at London. Good Luck to everyone in their training!!!!

CanaryYellow I have run 2 absolute stinker half marathons in MK, 3rd time lucky i guess. *RACE EDIT* Almost forgot about the bloody hump backed bridge. Thought i had set off slowly, eveidently it was sub 2 pace. Paid for that exuburance in the last 5k but pleased to have banished the Mk demon and managed a half decent run around the place. SUPERWOMAN63 Ran this last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. this year l struggled from halfway and then had a PAINFUL STITCH with 500m to go was l glad to reach the finish line. I have got over how disaapointed l felt with my run and realise that you can't run well all of the time and now that l realise that l feel so much better and ready to focus on my next race.
