Part of Blackpool Marathon Training*******Had a dream race. Bit of a breeze in places, but otherwise ideal conditions Planned on 6:40 minute miles and managed to stay ahead of target the whole way.
My 1st 10 miler and part of my build up to the Sheffield HM.
Very well orgainsed event and I was pleased with my time. Also good to meet a couple more fellow fletchies
I'm in!! No692 See you there
Since training this year so far as been poor I will be happy to complete the run. Looking forward to it anyway.*UPDATE* Felt good upto 7 mile then it started to hurt but when 8 mile mark came it soon came back. Last mile was great. Thanks to Frangale for help with choice of shirt. x

Brilliant, getting some form back!
A good fast course despite the wind. Really enjoyed myself racing in the town where I grew up. That is the official gun time, my actual time was 1:11:46.

great race with a bit of a sting in it's tail between 7 and 9 miles, still great chance of a 10 mile PB.
I live in Pocklington and am looking forward to this, our club, event of the year. Should be good.
Fantastic race for me. Felt really strong all the way round. Mild day with a SW breeze that was a bit tricky up to 7 miles, but behind you when you most needed it on the way back. Held up well and a new pb, well pleased.
last minute transfer from someone else, so no taper. chuffed with result
