Gobi Second place overall and well clear although a long way behind the winner who set the 5km course record last year. Another great run on some trails around Bikerod. Looked like all the other woods but also had 3kms of fast road. The course was a little hard and for Denmark had some good climbs. I could have run probably 20/30 seconds faster totally fresh and gunning. A great day out. I was in second inside 1 km and from then on it was just about keeping a solid pace and not doing too much, hit halfway in around 17.50 let my pace drop a little through 7/8/9 and then picked up going home. Rach E Absolutely brilliant 10k in Denmark near Snaps' house. Entered on the day. Undulating trails which were hilly for Denmark, although nothing like the Ridgeway I'm used to training on. Did enough to win first lady, although it turned out the Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, Team Kennet, Newbury Velo 36:58 37:55 39:34 75.17
