Smile2 If you picture a roller coaster going up and down, up and down then you pretty much get the picture. For my first half marathon this was psychologically tough!!! I really struggled at the end and I have never felt such a feeling of accomplishment in acheiving this especially as I could just about walk on my left leg this morning. Tinsel Heid First ever HM and overall pretty chuffed - it was tough! Had a wee stop that meant I lost my runner partner after 10.2 miles but for a first I'm happy. Very hilly, warm and windy. Unaffiliated 1:44:07 1:57:11 1:59:00 1:57:11 49.92
Vitalstatistix It was a bit of a bugger turning round at 7.5 miles and realising we had wind against and rolling undulations with a general climb for the next 5 miles...temperature was warm but bearable (the wind was cooling at least!!)...and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
