Lieutenant Lucerne PB highly unlikely on what I understand to be a challenging course. **** A good race, with some testing hills up to 7km. The view from there was worth the effort. Managed to do quite well on the uphill stages, but got overtaken by three or four runners on the downhill section. One minor complaint is that the final km was a bit congested with pedestrians and cars. A car pulled out in front of me forcing me to stop. Still it wouldn't have changed my finishing time by much. Steady Fast Quite a hard course I think so not expecting to go too fast on this. RESULT ! Beat my PB by over 3.5 minutes so I'm happy with that. Course was tough but very good. Penistone Footpath Runners AC, Fell Runners Association 38:28 45:21 48:00 48:21 54.60
