paskha 44th Half ... UPDATE: well I wore a dress and some balloons and Ran / Walked - NEW COURSE - nice and tough! Instead of coming on to the main road at Mile 10 (then was mostly downhill into Truro for a fast finish) the course weaves up and down on tiny wooded back lanes inc fords to cross - much nicer! //// PRE-RACE: It's a shame my training means I won't be able to complete my PYRAMID of times!!!!!!!! This will be my first running streak of TEN consecutive races, I'm going to be well chuffed about that, er, assuming I get there, run it & finish etc. The course changed in 2000 to a tougher route, but my times have made a pyramid ... from 1998 - 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:11, 2:19 (ill during race, I only just finished), 2:14, 2:07, 2:05, 1:59, yes, it would have been lovely to do another 1:55, haha, doing 1:59 on that course last year was an incredible achievement for me ... but serious lack of training & hardly any cycling recently means I won't even manage 2:10 this year (this note written 26 Aug) Mounts Bay Harriers 1:55:14 2:21:23 2:09:59 2:48:34 47.18
