This event is listed on these dates:

off road so no pb aim is top 30 placing. 36th, 22 secs slower than last year. team bad 9th of 15
hoping to do sub 37.30, not a pb attempt as off road

UPDATE: harder than I expected due to fitness levels not quite being there yet
Race went very well. I was aiming for 35 minutes, so to do 33:40 was great. It was an offroad, undulating course - so would be faster on road. It's great to get some speed back in my legs after all that marathon training.
Metal Martin
Went for a PB, but legs felt like lead after a mile or so and had to slow right down - managed to speed up again at the end, but nowhere near enough.
Pulled hamstring on this race last year, so just hope to finish this year!!
Tough course, but glad I did it. Ran all the way through with fellow club member, but she was able to sprint finish, which I couldn't do. In hindsight I could have pushed harder. Had a stitch twice, going downhill -- I seem to get stitches going downhill lately!!! but still not an excuse.

All in all, I enjoyed it. Wheather was dry, and nice.
a good race n0.1 3mins of last year, could have even done better if hadnt got stuck in single file going up last hill thorugh trees. well done riverside for another year
